Hocking Hills State Park & Other Outdoor Locations
Ash Cave is most popular, with a handicap accessible path and room for a large group to congregate. Weddings may take place at other park locations, such as Old Mans Cave and Lake Logan as well, however, you must get a permit from the Hocking Hills State Park staff by calling 740-385-6841. There is a small fee for the permit.
Insiders recommend you reserve the shelter house at your park location for preparations. Its also recommended that you choose a back-up ceremony location such as a cabin, inn or B&B just in case of inclement weather.
The park will not close down for your wedding, so be prepared to share your special day (and the trails and scenery) with park visitors. And consider the goodwill gesture of making a donation to Friends of the Hocking Hills State Park . Its a wonderful way to honor of your wedding day and leave a lasting legacy for your special location. (Friends is a non-profit group of volunteers who assist the park with fundraising, improvements and special projects.)
Looking for a more private outdoor location? Many of the area cabin and cottage owners and innkeepers have outdoor locations on-site that would be perfect for your ceremony. Call your favorite lodging and just ask!

Or perhaps an outdoor fire ring would be the setting for you.
